'Mack' has spent most of his adult life in various forms of the government's witness protection program. Names he has used in the past include his real one (omitted), 'Irish Johnny', Ivan 'Bag O' Balls' Rabinowitz, Matt Himelfarb, Hilary Clinton, Ed, and, his latest, Mack.

In between pulishing 'The Mack Attack", Mack spends time trying to get his ankle bracelet off, and playing harpsicord in the deaf and blind ward of the local prision, in walking distance to the matress he sleeps on under the bridge.

Mack is married, but can't remember the name of his wife, and has various children living under different names in specific South East Asian port cities.
