Taryn "The Coop" Cooper has been a fan since a guy named "Mex" was signed, and later the next year when a kid named "Doc" was the team's superstar. Coop was around for Marty Barrett's strike out, Mike Scioscia's home run in the ninth and Carlos Beltran taking it. She also plans to be around when Oliver Perez pitches the first ever Mets perfect game. Coop is a Jersey girl who grew up in Bruce Springsteen's hometown and now lives in Sinatra's home town (never lived in Bon Jovi's hometown, thank goodness). She is a season ticket holder in the Mezzanine, and frequently sells tickets. The Coop is the main contributor to "My Summer Family," a blog dedicated to the special people she has met at the Mets games over the years.
