Posted Saturday, February 17, 2007

Our FU Professors are hard at work and busy with their lectures this holiday weekend. No time off for our staff. So sit back and give a few clicks and enjoy!

Dana Brand on Mets Fan Blog describes the Mets chances for a successful season. He also has a nice piece discussing his plans for the coming year, which include writing for Flushing University. Thanks for the kind words, Dana. Look for his column here at FU every Thursday.

Brooklyn Met Fan isn't worried about the starting rotation and thinks we'll do just fine.

Kyle DeBussey of Mets Prospects has a nice wrapup of the non-roster invitees down at camp including pitcher Kevin Mulvey, catcher Jose Ariel Reyes (assume no relation) and first baseman Mike Carp.

Dave Mills of Mike's Mets covers a whole lot of short stops including Paul LoDuca, the rotation, Lastings Milledge and Shawn Green.

Mike Steffanos of Mike's Mets does a bullpen preview of Marcos Carvajal, the newest Met (and most likely soon a Zephyr).

Make sure you catch John Mackin Ade over at Mack's Mets Notes as he mentions Ruben Gotay is headed for The Big Easy, Willie's assessment of the Mets as a playoff team, and Tom Glavine discussing his decision to return to the Big Apple.
