Oliver imploded and Delgado is hitting .214 and Wright is at .246, and the game tonight is still hours away. So with free time on my hands, and I figure our readers may also have free time, I thought I'd take a peek and see what our FU Professors have in store for us for an evening of lectures this Tuesday.

Joe Janish of Mets Today who writes regularly for FU on Wednesdays and provides daily recaps also has found the time to interview Brian Lawrence, who signed a minor league contract with the Mets yesterday.
Taryn Cooper of My Summer Family is back from her vacation and after Monday's game she may be ready for another one. She also has a new contest promotion on her site. Just come up with an idea for a column that she will write for FU. If you win, you get to attend a game with The Coop herself.
John Coppinger of The Musings and Prophecies of Metstradamus descibes what he calls Oliver Perez performing his best Sid Fernandez imitation last night in the 5th inning. which in his words is "which is five innings of one hit, ten strikeout baseball...but a walk and an error in the sixth would cause him to lose his concentration and give up a bomb."
Ed from Westchester of The Blue, Orange and Green Cafe is bummed about two umpire wrong calls on HRs in the past few games, and describes for us the fielding heroics of Easley and Green. And he thinks Mr. Petersen shoulda checked in with O. P. a bit earlier in the 5th as well.
Shari Forst of Take The 7 Train has to remind us about another Molina hitting a HR last night Come on Shari, aside from last night who was the other Molina? I forget already. :)
