It's a lazy Sunday afternoon, waiting around for the Game of the Week and Glavine's chance to win #300. But out FU BlogProfessors and FU Faculty are hard at work to bring you the best in Mets baseball.

Stefi Kaplan of You Can't Script Baseball isn't crazy about day games cos she has a day job like most of us, but likes the Mets wins on Thursday and Friday. Stefi writes for FU every Monday.

Matt Himelfarb of Cyclones Nation suggests the Mets eliminated Kevin Mulvey from trading consideration and wonders why. Matt writes for FU every Monday.

Taryn Cooper of My Summer Family went on a memorable roadtrip with FU faculty member MetsGrll this past week. Check out the photos of their trip to Miller Park and Wrigley Field. The Coop writes for FU every Tuesday, although she'll be taking this week off.

Ed from Westchester of The Blue, Orange and Green Cafe brings us up to date on his thoughts of the moves the Mets made and didn't make at the trading deadline. Ed writes for FU every Tuesday.

Writerhoward of Metbaseball has a nice compilation of the results of the Mets systems pitchers from Saturday. Writerhoward will be writing for FU every Wednesday starting this week.

Dana Brand of Mets Fan Blog Dana writes that the other night's 13 inning game loss against the Brewers may just be a microcosm of the season, where there is very little that will differentiate an early playoff exit from going all the way. Dana writes for FU every other Thursday.
