In the first event of it’s kind for the Binghamton Mets individual game tickets for 2007 Binghamton Mets home games will go on sale this Saturday, March 3rd from 10 am to 1 pm in what is being called “Ticketpalooza”. Fans are invited to NYSEG Stadium to purchase tickets and catch a glimpse of what is in store for the upcoming baseball season.
Fans will be able check out to of the state-of-the-art 15’ tall by 33’ wide video screen incorporated into the new scoreboard at NYSEG Stadium. Fans are welcome to partake in free hot dogs and sodas and shop in the On-Deck-Circle souvenir store. Guided tours of the stadium’s skybox and renovated press box will be available.
Regular NYSEG Stadium ticket office hours will start on Monday, March 6th. The stadium box office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and starting at 9 o’clock on weekends when the B-Mets play at home. B-Mets manager Mako Oliveras will lead his squad in the season opener on the road in Akron on Thursday, April 5th. Opening day at NYSEG Stadium is scheduled for Thursday, April 12th with a 6 pm start. Season tickets and minipacks are currently available at the B-Mets offices in the downtown ballpark.
Starting Saturday, fans will be able to purchase tickets for single games at $9/box seat and $8/reserved grandstand seat. Kids (14 & under) and seniors (60 & over) save $2/ticket off full priced seats. Ticket prices remain unchanged from the 2006 season.
