Duaner Sanchez Under The Knife Again

It's been reported by several sources that Duaner Sanchez will need additional surgery due to a hairline fracture in his shoulder. Ouch! Guess he can go back to his Mo Vaughn diet and sleep late again. The team confirmed the injury — and that he will likely be out until August.

Elsewhere, in an ironic trade, it appears that the Diamondbacks have traded Jorge Julio to the Marlins for Yusmeiro Petit. Julio will be the Marlins' closer — ex-Mets farmhands Matt Lindstrom and Henry Owens failed in their auditions for Florida's closer.
